Right on Girard Avenue, they provide comprehensive care for cats and dogs alike! The have a rescue branch called Fishtails. Stop by one of their events to support them!

Ham + Bone

An independent, local grooming and pet supply store right on Frankford Ave! Everything your pet could need in a smaller storefront. We definitely recommend their sports apparel, even if the football jerseys say 'Eagles', and not 'Elgses', as it is colloquially spelled.

Pet Supplies Plus

A wholesale pet supply store located at the Fishtown Crossings shopping center. Get supplies in bulk, along with a washing station in back! And if you're lucky, ferrets in stock that you can stare at, like we tend to do, on occasion.

DOG TRAINER

Tails In The Wind

Tails in the Wind is a positive-reinforcement based dog trainer. Jessie is a CDPT-KA certified trainer with years of experience working with dogs and managing the challenges of urban environments.

BREWERY

Philadelphia Brewing Company

They have a pet friendly outside patio. Additionally, they hold many outside events throughout the year. Many of them supporting local rescues and helping pets get adopted.

BAR + RESTAURANT

Interstate Drafthouse

They have a dog-friendly outdoor patio. Additionally, they also schedule many dog friendly events, such as holiday photo opportunities.

COFFEE SHOP

Reanimator Coffee

You can bring your pup in while you grab a coffee! All their locations have dog treats available at the counter. After receiving your coffee, you can hang out with your dog at their outdoor tables.

Milkcrate Cafe

While you can't bring pets inside, they do have a take-out window! You can stop by and grab something while on a walk with your pup.

Pop's Dog Park

Pop's has an astro-turf field, as well as a hose, and often a doggy pool in the summer. Stop by for some refreshing Summer fun for your dog!
